Infant Room Furniture for Licensed Childcare

An infant room is furnished for children who change month to month. A child who cannot sit unsupported in September is pulling themselves upright by December, and the furniture has to hold up to both. This collection is built for that whole stretch — supported seating, shelves at pulling-up height, adjustable tables and a loft scaled for the smallest room in the centre.

Furniture for the pulling-up stage

The Pull-Up & Look Shelf exists for one specific moment: when a baby first hauls themselves upright on whatever is nearest. That is usually a shelf edge, a table leg, or a staff member's trousers. This one is built to be the thing they grab — weighted low, solid through the panel, with a rail at the right height and something to look at once they get there.

Seating for children who cannot yet sit

The Stackable Infant Chair comes with a belt, and the Infant Classroom Chair with Arms sits at 8 inches with sides for support. Both let an infant join a table before they have the core strength to sit unaided, which is what makes mealtimes and activities work as a group rather than one child at a time.

Tables that keep up

The Infant Round Table adjusts between 15 and 17 inches, so the same table works across a room where the children arrive at very different sizes and grow at very different rates. The Flower Table seats a small group with the educator within reach of every child.

Built for how infants investigate

Everything goes in the mouth at this age. Baltic birch and solid maple, low-VOC child-safe finishes, rounded edges and corners on every exposed edge, and storage built with a low centre of gravity so a unit does not come forward when a child pulls up on it. Made in our Moorefield, Ontario shop with a lifetime warranty.
