About Fern Kids | Designing Spaces Where Children Learn & Play

At Fern Kids, we believe the environments where children learn shape how they grow. We’ve been designing and manufacturing daycare furniture, preschool furniture, and Montessori classroom solutions that are beautiful, durable, and purpose-built for modern early childhood spaces.

Made in Canada from sustainably sourced materials, our products bring together design, function, and longevity — helping educators create classrooms that inspire curiosity, independence, and joy.

Our Pillars

Inspiring Classrooms Everywhere

Children learn best in spaces that are safe, functional, and inspiring. That’s why we focus on:Design-forward furniture: playful yet practical pieces that enhance every classroom.Montessori & Reggio-inspired principles: child-height shelves, open-ended storage, and accessible learning tools.Materials: void-free Baltic birch and low-VOC finishes for a healthier classroom.Durability: commercial-grade furniture built to last years of active use.We don’t just make furniture; we create spaces where learning happens naturally.

Made in Canada, Trusted Across North America

From our Canadian workshop, we craft furniture that meets the unique needs of daycares, preschools, and early learning centers across Canada and the U.S. Our production process ensures consistent quality, reliable lead times, and environmentally responsible materials — every piece made to withstand the rigors of daily classroom life.

Creativity, Community, and Care

At Fern Kids, we’re more than a furniture manufacturer. We’re partners in education, creating spaces where children can explore, learn, and grow.

From Simple Ideas to Trusted Designs

What started as a vision for quality children’s products in Moorefield, Ontario, has grown into a brand educators and parents rely on worldwide. Whether it’s a custom reading nook, sensory play wall, or a fully designed classroom, our team turns creative visions into functional, safe, and durable learning environments.
Sustainability

Every product is crafted with responsibly sourced materials and low-emission finishes, creating safer, healthier spaces for children while protecting the planet. By prioritizing durability and sustainability, we help classrooms thrive today and preserve resources for generations to come.

Reviews from All Circles, our sister brand

“I would kill to have this in a classroom, but for older toddlers and preschoolers. I really appreciate the fact that your work takes schemas into consideration!”

“Great craftsmanship and design went into the balance beams. It’s a great toy for all ages; light, accessible, and many opportunities for open ended play.”

“The quality is top notch. It is sanded well and there are no places for little ones to catch their fingers or toes on sharp edges. It is solid without being overly heavy.”

“What we enjoyed most about these items were the many opened ended ways they could be played with, not just as a balance beam. The pieces have been a foundation for block towers, a step stool, a portion of an obstacle course and a table.”

“Simple to assemble, excellent design, sturdy enough for daily use by adults. It’s perfect for our needs; we love it!”

“Easy to assemble, sturdy and very pretty! Would 100% recommend!!”
