Outdoor Classroom Furniture

Outdoor classroom furniture built from solid Canadian hardwood — roughly 8× the Janka hardness of cedar — so it can stay outside through a Canadian winter instead of going into storage every October.

Most outdoor furniture sold to early learning programmes is softwood: cedar, pine or spruce. It is workable and cheap, and it dents, checks through freeze-thaw cycling, and greys out inside two or three seasons. Hardwood holds up to the same weather and the same daily use without the annual refinishing.

Everything here is made at our own shop in Moorefield, Ontario, finished with kid-safe low-VOC stains, fitted with high-grade steel hardware, and backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Production lead time is three to six weeks and pieces ship preassembled.
